MERCIndy Collective Meeting: Legislative Updates SY 25-26

Join us for an informative session with Dr. Rachel Santos, Director of External Affairs for Indianapolis Public School. A first-generation college graduate and proud Latina, Dr. Santos brings a wealth of experience in local government, nonprofit leadership, and education policy. In her role, she leads legislative strategy and community engagement efforts to advance educational equity.

This free meeting will focus on understanding recently passed legislation (10+ bills!) and its potential impact on your school.  Key questions will be posed for consideration. Special attention will be paid to HB 1499 and its effects on multilingual learners.  Join us for this informational session!
